1897 Barber Quarter. Proof-66 (NGC). A pleasing contrast is imparted between the mirrored fields and richly frosted devices, although curiously the cameo finish goes unmentioned on the NGC insert. Lightly toned in pale silver and gold, and impressively rendered on both sides, this Proof is certainly worthy of a strong bid! NGC Census: 30; 24 finer in this category (Proof-68+ * finest).
