1869 Pattern Quarter. Judd-727, Pollock-808. Rarity-5. Proof-64 Cameo (NGC). CAC. Standard Silver design with a right facing bust of Liberty serving as the focal device on the obverse. Liberty is wearing a diadem inscribed LIBERTY and her hair is tied in a bun. The legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is above and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST is on a scroll below. The reverse exhibits a wreath of oak and laurel leaves surrounding the denomination 25 CENTS. The inscription STANDARD SILVER is above and the date 1869 is below. Struck in silver with a reeded edge.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lightly toned, golden-apricot surfaces reveal bold field to device contrast as the coin rotates under a light.
