- Mintage: 40,000. Dark fields surround lighter devices that exhibit soil-grey patina. Distributed, minor ticks are of little consequence overall, and even in aggregate, they offer little distraction. LIBERTY displays almost fully on the shield, lacking merely the tail of "Y". 1860-O was the last production of dimes in New Orleans until 1891.
