Lot Description

1788 Massachusetts Half Cent. Ryder 1-B, W-6010. URS-11. MS-63 BN (PCGS). With pleasing color in a mostly rose-brown shade, this boldly struck example is seemingly earmarked for inclusion in a Mint State type or variety set. A few faint planchet streaks are evident on both sides, and we also note a series of planchet flaws (as made) at the left obverse border at the letters MM in COMMON. Of significant post production blemishes we see none, save perhaps for a trivial spot in the upper left reverse field. Handsome Choice Unc quality.
