BB-108, B-13. Regarded as R-2. Here is a pleasing, original XF early dollar. Good definition remaining in the devices despite the moderate wear. Russet-olive, lilac-tan, and sky blue-slate blend over problem free surfaces. We note some minor crossing planchet adjustment marks at the center of the reverse, but they do not detract. We submitted this coin to CAC, and we are not exactly sure why this one did not receive its green bean. PCGS 22, NGC 3. The last example of this variety to sell in auction in PCGS XF40 realized $3,819 in January 2013. The current PCGS Price Guide is $4,500.
