Lot Description

1904 Liberty Eagle. Proof-62 (PCGS). A fully struck specimen with pleasing, mild field-to-device contrast on both sides. The richly reflective fields show a few wispy hairlines, as well as some raised die striations, but the delicate Proof surfaces are free of contact marks. A relatively scarce issue, from a low mintage of only 108 coins, of which probably no more than 550 different examples survive today.
