Lot Description

Gorgeous example from a very low mintage of 510 coins. The 1873-78 Trade dollar proofs are much scarcer than the 1880-83 (proof only) issues and are much harder to find. Essentially brilliant with a dusting of champagne-gold color that highlights the cameo contrast.
