1912 Indian Eagle. MS-64+ (NGC). Pinkish tones accent the border across this gorgeous near-Gem, complementing the overall medium-gold patina. Coarse, matte-like luster dominates the fields and frames more satiny texture atop the design elements. Untroubled by friction and quite attractive. The mintage of 405,000 pieces produced enough for collectors today in most grades, but if an example in higher Mint State grades is required, there certainly are not many to go around. PCGS# 8871.
