- Lot Description
- 1805 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-4, B-4. Rarity-2. Manley Die State 2.0. Large 5, Stems--Double Struck, First Obverse Strike Off Center--VF... Glossy olive-brown surfaces with hardly a distracting abrasion or other blemish to report. There is an arc of denticles 55% off center through Liberty's head, ear, throat and fading out in the right obverse field, which appear to be from an off center brockage as there is no evidence of a first strike on the reverse. An otherwise bold strike wanes just a bit in the center of the obverse, at the end of Liberty's bust and in the opposing areas on the reverse.
