Lot Description

A lustrous GEM that displays a soft golden iridescent toning. The strike is generally bold throughout, save for the central band on the reverse, which is not split but very pleasing overall. PCGS 1, NGC 3. This SUPERB GEM brought $2,115 in our December 2019 Regency Auction. The sole PCGS coin has never sold in auction, but Collectors Universe suggests a value of $5,000. Worthy of a very strong bid from the specialist looking for a SUPERB example of this early date Mercury dime. Cert. Number 62920904 PCGS # 4920
