Lot Description

Columbian half-dollars are so often seen in mundane grades that viewing a "very gem" or better example is a treat, just in and of itself. However, going well and beyond technical aspirations, this is an amazingly attractive coin that features sea-green central areas surrounded by gleaming chartreuse-gold and amber luster. Wispy abrasions are inevitable even at MS-66-plus but not one is individually distracting.
