Lot Description

1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 33.7-r.4, W-3450. Rarity-5+. Draped Bust Left. VG-10 (PCGS). 126.1 grains. A second example of this variety. Mostly medium brown with some darker crusty patina in some of the recesses and fields. A large shallow flaw is noted just left of the effigy’s bust and the surfaces are a bit porous throughout. Still, the major details are pretty clear for the grade. Provenance: From the Twin Leaf Collection of Connecticut & Massachusetts Coppers.
