1890-CC Morgan Silver Dollar. VAM-4. Top 100 Variety. Tailbar. MS-63 (NGC). A boldly lustrous specimen of this ever-popular VAM variety, a sharply struck example of the date with broadly sweeping cartwheels that ignite the pale violet and rose iridescence on both sides; the reverse toning is nominally deeper throughout. The highly regarded "Tailbar" variety with a bold, raised vertical die line that connects the lowest arrow feather to the laurel leaves immediately below. Choice for the grade and lovely to behold.
