Lot Description

1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-49. Rarity-2. Head of 1794. VF-30 BN (NGC). A late die state with a heavy die crack from the upper obverse border to the upright of E in LIBERTY, and on into the hair below. There is no indication of a die bulge that appears in the upper right obverse field in the latest die state. Lovely surfaces with deep steel-brown color on each side. Excellent surfaces despite a few minor reverse die scratches.
