Lot Description

1807 Draped Bust Cent. S-276. Rarity-1. Large Fraction--Rotated Dies--EF-40 BN (NGC). The deep chocolate-brown surfaces exhibit no serious marks to the unaided eye though low magnification reveals a patch of roughness at Liberty's shoulder. Reverse die aligned at about 45 degrees with the top of the wreath pointing to 8 o'clock instead of 12 o'clock when the coin is turned on its <em>horizontal </em>axis. A pleasing example of the date all told.
