Lot Description

1890-CC Liberty Double Eagle. Winter 1-A, the only known dies. VF-30 (PCGS). Moderate wear is still largely confined to the higher elements of the devices, leaving plenty of sharper detail in the more protected areas of the design. Warmly patinated in a khaki-rose color with a smattering of small- and also a few moderate-size abrasions from considerable (for a Double Eagle) time spent in active commercial use.
