We love everything about this marvelous SUPERB GEM. This piece is fresh to market having been away for many years. The surfaces ooze with near full perfection. Only if you use a really strong glass can you see a single grease dot (Mint made). A stunning intense headlight luster beams from all over. If you turn out the lights you can see this coin from a block away. A beautiful mix of gold frames the rims and opens into pale lilac/nickel blue colors. We have seen similar colors on album toned coins. Most important: all of the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal of this coin is spectacular! PCGS 23, NGC 5, CAC 5. PCGS has graded 2 in MS67+ and 3 coins in MS68 (two are impounded in collections). The last piece to sell in auction brought $12,337 in December 2016 (not this coin).
