- Andrew Davidson Collection. Scorching brick-oven orange decorates 1909-VDB, either side showing greyish remnants of an old fingerprint. 1909 has no such feature, showing instead some delightful wintergreen toning in a large swath below the obverse's predominant reddish hue. Both are nicely struck for this two coin lot.
