1818 Capped Bust Quarter. B-5. Rarity-4+. MS-60 (PCGS). OGH. This Mint State 1818 quarter, encapsulated years ago, is bound to create interest among die variety specialists as well as type set collectors. Star 9 is boldly repunched, and the second T in STATES is centered left of the I in PLURIBUS. Likely a Condition Census representative of this highly scarce, underrated die variety. A well struck Mint State piece with shimmering mint luster and dramatic rose toning in the centers, surrounded by iridescent gold and electric-blue peripheral coloration. Free of any noticeable surface flaws.
