Lot Description

On the cusp of a full Gem grade, this lovely 1860 half dollar displays an exacting strike and highly reflective watery fields. Both obverse and reverse are awash in pastel toning that is truly a delight to behold. Shades of lilac standout against a bold tangerine and apricot on the obverse and a deep orange-gold on the reverse. Quite the attractive example, perfect for a type or date set.
