Lot Description

Undated (Circa 1694) London Elephant Token. GOD PRESERVE LONDON. Hodder 2-B, W-12040. Thick Planchet. EF-40 (PCGS). Deep chocolate brown and rose brown surfaces show few marks of any measure to the unassisted eye. Nicely centered on the obverse, the dentils there particularly bold around much of the rim, the reverse slightly off-center to the top, the rim there nearly encroaching on the top of GOD. Pleasing at many levels with a solid in-hand appearance.
