Virtually pristine, frosty textured surfaces are enhanced by mottled toning in iridescent salmon-pink, golden-bronze, champagne-gold and powder blue. Like its identically dated Philadelphia Mint counterpart, the 1959-D is surprisingly scarce in the finest Mint State grades for a late date 90% Washington quarter with a mintage of 62,054,232 coins. This top-pop condition rarity is a find for the advanced Washington quarter Set Registry collector.
