- 1795 Washington Grate Halfpenny. Baker-29D, W-10950. Rarity-3. Small Buttons. Reeded Edge. AU-50 Lacquer Residue. 145.06 grains. Deep olive-brown with rouge-red highlights. Evenly worn but not noticeably marked save for a faint vertical scratch, long since toned over, in the right reverse field. Recessed areas clogged with lacquer or perhaps jeweler's rouge, but to no great visual detriment. PCGS# 749. Provenance: Paper envelope with attribution notes included.
