WHOA NELLY! This is not your typical low-end Mint State coin! First, when twirled in the light, the luster popping off the surfaces of this coin is far above average for the assigned grade. Also noteworthy is the lack of marks and unsightly abrasions one conjures up in their mind when hearing the grade MS61. Yes, under a loupe you can spot a few marks on the reverse beneath the lowest arrowhead, but the obverse is super clean with just a smattering of little ticks. PCGS 288, NGC 423. The PCGS Price Guide is $4,000. In May 2023, a piece sold at auction for $2,545. Why so little? Look at the image online, and you will understand.
