Lot Description

R-7+, 3-6 MINTED. Struck in Aluminum with a reeded edge. The only one graded as a CAMEO at PCGS. The mirrors have a decent reflectivity, but do have a subtle touch of haze. Light hairlines and a few carbon spots, typical on aluminum patterns, account for the assigned grade.The details are RAZOR sharp. PCGS 1, NGC 1. A similar looking, non-cameo coin, graded PCGS PR64 (but had a more carbon) was bought back for $6,900 in a September 2008 auction. Exceptionally rare and delightfully affordable, this pattern quarter will certainly appeal to many different collectors. This is an opportunity not to be taken lightly. PCGS # 535101 Cert.
