1799 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-162, B-6. Rarity-4. Fine-15 (PCGS). OGH. Warmly toned in medium steel-gray, both sides reveal powder blue and pale rose undertones as the surfaces dip into a light. A pleasing Choice Fine example that will appeal to advanced collectors of this popular early U.S. Mint series. One of perhaps just 300 to 500 survivors from this die pairing (per Bowers, 2013).
