Lot Description

1888 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-65 Cameo (NGC). This fully brilliant and boldly struck specimen enjoys frosted devices and mirrored fields along with a dusting of faint champagne-gold. The Proof mintage for the date was 832 pieces, with the present beauty certainly among the most attractive survivors from that mintage, at least in our eyes. Choice for the grade.
