Lot Description

Tied for FINEST graded 47-D Booker T. Washington half dollar. There were 100,000 struck, and this is a POP TOP specimen. Frosty lustrous surfaces gleam with a pearly glow. Well struck and the surfaces are essentially flawless. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 17, NGC 20, CAC 13. There are just 2 in MS67+ and neither has ever sold in auction. There was a PCGS MS67 CAC that sold for $8,813 in 2017 and the current Collectors Universe value in MS67+ is $8,500. A SUPERB example that is worthy of the FINEST of sets. Cert.
