Lot Description

TIED FOR FINEST GRADED. Richly lustrous on both sides, the strike is bold and crisp with all the details nicely presented. A band of rainbow toning on the obverse graces the rim from around 2:00 to 8:00 with a tinge of blue across the central portions of the obverse. The surfaces are FLAWLESS, we cannot find any kind of flaw even using a strong and powerful loupe. The eye appeal is very nice. PCGS 2, NGC 4. This is the only example to ever sell in auction, realizing $16,450 in January 2015. The current PCGS Price Guide is $21,000.
