Lot Description: We love SUPERB GEMS like this! It is amazing that such a small coin can pack so much coin into such a tiny package. Boasting vivid, beaming mirrors on both sides, the surfaces are essentially as brilliant and flashy as the day it came out of the mint. Unimpaired by any kind of mishandling, this beauty has just a tiny touch of color at the reverse rim. Sharply impressed with a great frosty texture. The eye appeal is sheer perfection! Only 960 Proofs were struck. PCGS 3, NGC 6, CAC 7. The most recent example to sell in auction realized $3,840 in October 2019. That was the first to sell since the 2016 FUN auction where one sold for $3,995. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,000.
