Lot Description

A generally deep walnut-brown example with olive-russet engaging many of the design elements, reverse with some ancient crimson scale engaging the all-seeing eye. This piece has been cleaned, and the obverse also reveals myriad pin scratches under magnification that find greatest concentration on the mountain motif. Overall light pitting is largely native to the planchet. Somewhat off center to lower right obverse, lower left reverse, although all major features are on the flan, and the overall design is bold at the certified VF grade level.
