- 1787 Fugio Copper. Pointed Rays. Newman 1-B, W-6600. Rarity-4. Obverse Cross After Date, No Cinquefoils, UNITED STATES. VF-20 Burnished, Obverse Repaired. 130.55 grains. Chestnut-brown and golden-brown surfaces lightly cleaned and burnished to an unnatural shiny state. Obverse with large planchet void, as struck, on rim at 4 to 5 o'clock, no other marks of note, reverse slightly off-center with rim tight to a few rings, no noticeable marks. A classic variety that is much sought-after in the numismatic marketplace. PCGS# 880.
