Lot Description

Pleasing golden and olive-brown patina blankets both sides of this attractively original example. Obverse impression nicely centered with only the border denticulation missing at right, reverse off center trivially to 12 o'clock with the upper border lightly engaging the rings. Most features are bold for the grade, nonetheless, and the surfaces are quite smooth overall with only minor handling marks that do not detract. Bold clash marks on the reverse, within the rings, typical of this die pairing.
