1873 Silver Three-Cent Piece. Proof-61 (PCGS). OGH. Frosted motifs and mirror fields glow with pale champagne iridescence. Far finer in-hand than the given grade suggests. A Proof-only date that saw a mintage of just 600 pieces in this, the final year of the denomination in silver -- the nickel three-cent piece series terminated years later in 1889.
