What a lovely example of this early Type III $20! A warm glowing luster gleams with a bold satiny brilliance on both sides. Virtually of full CHOICE quality, the surfaces show just some minor traces of contact on either side. The definition to the details are crisp and bold and the eye appeal is high end for the grade. PCGS 221, NGC 180, CAC 27. The most recent example realized $4,200 in September 2020; today the market for PCGS/CAC gold is so strong, the Collectors Universe Price Guide value is $5,400 and the CAC CPG value is $5,310.
