Losbeschreibung: Ex Hansen Collection, as noted on the insert. A wonderful GEM Cameo Proof from the famed Hansen Collection. Blazing and brilliant mirrors beam boldly on both sides of this well preserved example. Rich frost on the devices stand out boldly in contrast to the fields. A touch of peripheral toning in blue and apricot frame the surfaces and give this coin a great look! Only 800 Proofs were struck. PCGS 12, NGC 16. We feel this coin deserves a good home. Having sold a few times over the last few years, it sold most recently for $2,640 in July 2022. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,150. Just a dozen have been graded higher at PCGS.
