Whoa! What a magnificent and beautiful GEM Proof Trade dollar! The highly reflective mirrors are deep and watery with a bold flash. They are also very clean and free of any distractions. In a light the mirrors really help to bring out the variegated amber, gold, and teal-azure toning. The devices are sharply struck and stand out against smooth, icy mirrored fields. This totally original GEM coin has a superb visual allure that is wonderfully high end! PCGS 43, NGC 42, CAC 12. There are just three PR65+ examples at PCGS and fewer than 30 are graded higher. The most recent example sold in our October 2019 Exclusively Legend Regency Event, realizing $9,694. Before that, this one sold in March 2019 for $8,813.
