- 1878 Twenty-Cent Piece. Proof-62 Cameo (PCGS). An essentially white coin with a blush of pale lilac on both sides over the mirror fields and frosted devices. Minor hairlines are present, but overall the appearance is close to the Choice level. The 1878 Twenty-Cent piece became the final year of issue of this series, with a small mintage of 600 pieces. This particular coin shows the elegant Proof surface and contrast, and has a high wire rim around much of the obverse.
