Obv:Standard Silver design with a bust of Liberty facing right, the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the border and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST on a scroll below. Liberty is wearing a cap ornamented with three stars. Rev:The denomination 10 CENTS surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel leaves, the inscription STANDARD SILVER above and the date 1869 below.
