Lot Description

Bert Davies Collection. A better strike than what one typically expects for the date, the bison's horn appears fully outlined albeit there is some minor flatness seen here and at the top of the head. The shoulder and hump appear well rounded by the strike though, and surprisingly nice luster emanates from the obverse fields. Gorgeously toned with steely blue and violet colors, surrounded by chartreuse and crimson album hues.
