1851 Braided Hair Half Cent. C-1, the only known dies. Rarity-1. MS-63 BN (PCGS). The deep golden-tan surfaces offer soft underlying luster, a crisp strike, and a whisper of pale blue iridescence when seen in a bold light source. Choice for the grade. PCGS# 35324. Provenance: From the Michael Demling Collection. Acquired from Jim McGuigan at the 1991 EAC Convention. Collector envelope with attribution and pedigree notes included.
