Lot Description

Bold, watery reflective mirrors flash from all over! Wonderfully toned with a vibrant originality, this coin has a very pleasing eye appeal, with the reverse being nearly of full CAMEO contrast. Only 930 were struck. PCGS 91, NGC 77. These really have been beaten down, and very unfairly so, by the market. The last one to sell brought only $1,087 in the 2017 ANA; the NGC coin sold before that realized $1,528 in the 2014 ANA auction. The current CU value is listed at $1,650. Cert.
