Lot Description

1850 Liberty Quarter Eagle. MS-64+ (PCGS). CAC. The astonishingly bright surfaces display a semi-frosty sheen across both sides. Generally well struck, with typical softness over the centers. The canary-yellow surfaces show pale green accents in the fields. A nicely preserved piece that seems high-end for the grade. This issue is very elusive in Mint State, and the current example ranks very high on the roster of finest-known survivors.
