Lot Description

Tied for the FINEST graded example of this important modern Lincoln cent Doubled Die. Blazing, fire-engine red surfaces beam with a bold mint brilliance. Sharply struck, the devices are crisp, and the doubling bold and visible to the naked eye. The surfaces are completely without flaw, and the visual appeal is excellent. PCGS 15, NGC 35. Obviously none are graded finer. The last one to sell brought $4,560 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $5,000. An impressive coin worthy of the finest set. Good luck. Cert.
