WOW! This is a lot of coin for the assigned grade. Clearly this is one of those instances where the eye appeal will outweigh the technical grade. The obverse is a borderline DCAM with stunning bold contrast. The contrast is further enforced by a gorgeous halo of toning at the rims that leaves the central devices starkly brilliant and untoned. The reverse is likewise patinated, and the eye appeal is amazing for a coin graded PR64 CAM! Only 700 Proofs were struck. PCGS 21, NGC 13, CAC 3. Disregard the published levels, the last one sold for $1,323 in July 2019 (a weaker market). This coin has a much better visual allure than that coin and it will bring more for sure. Cert.
