Lot 82 1843 N-4 R1 Petite Head, Reverse of 1844 PCGS graded MS62 Brown.Lustrous medium chocolate brown and steel. The fields are satiny and the eye appeal is excellent. However a glass reveals some contact marks scattered over both sides, the only significant one being a dull vertical scratch left of the O in ONE. Nicely struck EDS, die state a, with minor repunching visible under the right base of the 1. Our grade is AU55 sharpness net EF45.
