Lot Description

1884-CC Liberty Head Eagle. EF-45 (NGC). Pretty honey-gold patina with glints of pale pink evident as the surfaces dip into a light. Ample evidence of a semi-prooflike finish remains, both sides also retaining plenty of bold to sharp striking detail. From a scant mintage of 9,925 pieces, and of further appeal given the presence of the magic CC mintmark of the Carson City facility. PCGS# 8704. NGC ID: 266B.
