Richly original deep honey-gold surfaces also exhibit shades of medium orange and pale pinkish-rose. Sharply defined with only minimal signs of commercial use, much of the softly frosted finish is evident as the coin rotates under lighting. Last of only three mintmarked Indian quarter eagle issues, the 1925-D is the most frequently encountered coin of this type in today's market. Circulated type collectors would be hard pressed to find a nicer example than this fully original and thoroughly PQ coin from the Stack Collection.
