A well struck and brilliant 14-D Saint on the cusp of a full GEM grade. This date is better than a generic date, with little premium, which is why we have always liked the date. Brilliant with a rich, yellow-gold coloration on surfaces with a rippled, almost crepe or sandblast texture in the fields. The quality is all there with few traces of contact and the visual allure is very nice. PCGS 3,496, NGC 2,115, CAC 178. There are 177 in MS64+ at PCGS. The most recent example sold in January 2023 for $4,200 and this one compares quite nicely to that one. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $3,500 and we have no doubt that this one will exceed that level when the hammer falls. CAC has approved only 58 examples finer. Cert. Number 45599989 PCGS # 9165
