Lot Description

1920-S Standing Liberty Quarter. MS-66 (NGC). Frosty and bright with creamy luster throughout and toned with a dash of golden-russet. The strike is sharper than usually seen with two partial leaves on Liberty's head and all the shield bosses present. Outstanding surface quality and highly original for an early mintmarked Standing Liberty quarter. One of the finer examples certified of this date and mint and a wholesome coin for the advanced specialist of this popular series. PCGS# 5738. NGC Census: 13; 9 finer (MS-67 finest) within designation.
